Ocean Avenue

When we see the image, my first thinking is warm and tender. Like you said, the mix of the colors really makes it like a sunset. And the eyelashes makes us want to think that it is distaffs on the beach and the ocean is the eye pupil. The litle glossiness on the makeup let us the impression that it is like soft water caressing the sand.

The only thing that does not fit with the image is the hair on the top, I would suggest that you taint the hair with a color that would fit with the makeup. Also if you could take one amount of hair (with the warm colors on) and put some wax on it so you could do a wave, like if it was a tidal wave (small one). For example you could put it blue-green ( light Turquoise <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)" /> ), so the result would fit with your idea. And another thing is that you could put also some glossiness or shiny dots on the hair wave.

My other idea would also be to do waves with your eyelashes. You take the same color that I told you. You take a white color for the farest part of the eyelashes so it will look like water moving.
